March 30 Princess Twilight Sparkle:     I must admit, it feels a little strange to be addressing a letter to you in such a way.  For so long, I knew you as just “Twilight,” and now, it’s all official and business-like.  I guess I just haven’t gotten used to it yet.     However, that is not the reason for my writing to you.  I have need of your knowledge.  Few ponies within Equestria can rival your intellect when it comes to matters involving magic or the study of magic.  I have taken upon myself a task of creating a garment to be used for the purpose of camouflage for ponies that are sent out on dangerous missions.

I’d like to look and tell you That the smile here is real. But the truth is that all too often It’s one I do not feel.      OK, so forgive me here, but I'm a purist (and a creature of habit).  And I saw that this episode was leaked earlier this week.  But you know, I didn't watch it.  I didn't want to.  Saturday is review day for me, and here it is.  So, without any further delay: this week's episode review! Animation:     Hehe...this episode was all about the misdirect.  Things kept happening either out of the corner of your eye, or when you least expected them, or in a manner that seemed completely out-of-place (but in a good way).  There weren't necessarily any major WHOA moments, but that doesn't detract from the episode at all.  The animators here hav

     The wait is over!  Season four is off and running!  And as an added bonus, I've thrown in an episodic review at absolutely no extra charge! Animation:     This was epic.     I mean, there were the lighthearted, kinda silly scenes where Twilight was still trying to learn to fly, to the subtle shading effects throughout the episode, and the Discord scene, and the multiple appearances of the Elements of Harmony.  And the design on the Tree of Harmony was pretty epic, too.  Kinda reminded me of the first time I saw Winsome Falls from "Sleepless in Ponyville."  You just had that magical feeling when you saw it.     But easily, my favorit

The Sky Streak Saga Timeline: June 5, year 1: Sky Streak visits Cloudsdale. June 9, year 1: Sky passes through Canterlot on his way back to Coltlanta.  He meets Princess Luna there.  Agrees to assist her in performing deeds for her throughout the land. June 22, year 1: Sky makes his temporary residence in Canterlot.  His work for Princess Luna officially begins. September 8, year 1: The Equestrian Royal Council decides to move against the darkness in Everfree Forest.  Luna successfully convinces the Council to allow Sky Streak to be the one to go. Foalumbus June 20, 9:17 AM     Sky watched as his family and friends left with the two royal guards in the direction of the fairgrounds.  Several times, he saw them look back his direction, but none more than Lily, Spike, and Twilight.  As they rounded a corner, all three of them kept their eyes on him until the last possible moment.  Then, as they finally passed from his view, he looked up at Celestia.  “What can I do for you, Princess?”     She smiled at him sympathetically.  “Don’t worry, Sky.  I’m not sending you on another mission.  Not today, at least.”     Sky let himself relax just a bit.  “Oh
